Functional
Training
All Pack Members receive training to ensure they are fully prepared to perform the job and serve our guests. Our training programs take a blended approach to serve the widest variety of learning styles, including e-learning, classroom, and on-the-job training. At Great Wolf Lodge, you will be well trained and ready for your role.​
Certified Trainer Program
The Certified Trainer (CT) Program is designed to equip frontline Pack Members with the tools and knowledge needed to advance their careers. Participants undergo a comprehensive half-day training session, focused on adult learning principles, adapting training styles, and facilitating effective training. ​As a Certified Trainer, individuals will:​
  • Guide trainees through daily training agendas in Great Wolf University
  • Provide mentorship during on-the-job training shifts
  • ​Validate trainees' progress

Key Talent
The 1-year program focuses on the development of 3 core competencies:
  • Leadership
  • Financial and Business Acumen
  • Functional and Great Wolf knowledge
Program
Great Wolf offers key talent programs for both our corporate team and Managers and Directors of all lodges. Program participants receive training on topics in a variety of formats—live, self-paced, partner discussions, and more—and provided opportunities and experiences to apply these learnings and advance their careers.
Supervisor Essentials
Program
The Supervisor Essentials Program teaches both new supervisors and high-performing frontline staff the foundational skills to succeed in a supervisory role at Great Wolf Lodge. Participants of this program are eligible to apply for the Certified Hospitality Supervisor certification from the American Hotel & Lodging Association—a credential to help build their career that is recognized throughout the hospitality industry.

SEP participants will learn:
  • Recruitment, selection, and coaching
  • Communication, recognition, and engagement
  • HR/Payroll basics, safety, and compliance

Management Development Program
We offer a two-year, post-college  development program, dedicated to helping graduates accelerate their career growth into hospitality leadership roles at Great Wolf Lodge.
Internship Program
We offer a 10-week summer internship for students interested in exploring hospitality or for those already pursuing a hospitality degree.

A  10-week Corporate Internship Program is also available to students studying finance, accounting, marketing, graphic design, information technology, human resources, and other fields found in our corporate office.

HR Leadership Development Program
The Human Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLDP) is an accelerated development path to a leadership role in HR with Great Wolf Lodge. This two-year program sends participants on eight-month-long rotations through two or more lodges. It provides them with the experience needed to assume the role of HR Director upon completion of the program.
